Benzer Exhibition
The unique art of Faith Benzer arrived at the SD Art Museum on April 15 as part of a new exhibition called "The Meeting Point - Part 3." The SDSU associate professor will have his artwork on display in the museum until Sept. 14.

Dunn's 'Feminine Images'
Harvey Dunn, a successful artist, show a collection of his paintings called, "Feminine Images" on display in the Museum from now through Feb. 9, 2009.

Brookings Area MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Meeting
Mothers of Preschoolers will be starting their 2008-2009 year.
Beginning September 3rd, MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) meetings will be held at Bethel Baptist Church 714 17th Ave. Brookings. The group meets the first Wednesday of every month from 9a-11:15a. For more information call 605-692-2858.
In September the MOPS group will be welcoming everyone back with an introduction to the new MOPS year. This years them is Adventures in Mothering. We will be talking about the “Identity Adventure” and how we define ourselves and the roles that we take on.
All mothers of children ages birth through kindergarten are invited to attend MOPS. MOPS is for women interested in sharing quality time, learning and fun with other mothers while their children are cared for by a parallel group called MOPPETS.

WII Bowling
The Brookings Public Library is offering adults a chance to bowl using Nintendo Wii - an electronic video game.
The Wii bowling will be held every other Tuesday at 7 pm. There are no heavy balls and no need for special shoes, but all the fun of going to the bowling alley.
